SP / Slope stabilisation / Retaining walls
The use of micro piling as a retaining wall is a method involving the sinking of piles for stabilising roadside verges and banks prone to subsidence.
Routine earth moving and piling work is carried out before tie-back anchors are installed in the slope, micropiles are sunk to stabilise the bank and shotcrete is sprayed over a welded rebar mesh or wooden facing.
